Overview
Diebold Nixdorf is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support its centralized service parts planning organization in North Canton, OH. This position focuses on service parts inventory, order processing, cycle counts, inventory corrections, emergency parts sourcing, and shipment monitoring.
The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with field technicians and internal teams to improve inventory accuracy and help ensure service parts are available at the right location when needed.
Job Description
Coordinate service parts activities for field technicians throughout North America.
Perform and manage field cycle counts and inventory corrections.
Assist technicians with bin-to-bin and branch-to-branch inventory transactions.
Enter and process service parts orders.
Source emergency parts from available field inventory when possible.
Monitor parts in transit and follow up on shipments without tracking information.
Review and resolve inventory and order exceptions, including TARQ messages.
Process excess inventory and repair returns.
Submit non-revenue orders for billed work and service requirements.
Support completion of annual cycle counts for active inventory bins.
Identify inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
Coach technicians on inventory and parts-handling processes to improve accuracy.
Follow up with internal management regarding recurring inventory or parts-handling issues.
Maintain accurate records and support overall service supply chain efficiency.
Perform additional logistics and inventory-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Experience in logistics, inventory management, supply chain, parts coordination, order processing, or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technicians and internal teams.
Experience with inventory management processes and systems.
Strong computer and systems aptitude.
Ability to research and resolve inventory, shipment, and order discrepancies.
Knowledge of service parts or inventory optimization processes is preferred.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
