We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee the negotiation and management of freight operations for refrigerated trucks. The ideal candidate will negotiate and coordinate the efficient and cost-effective transportation of temperature-sensitive goods while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

Freight Negotiation: Establish and negotiate competitive rates with carriers specializing in refrigerated transportation.

Shipment Coordination: Plan, schedule, and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining required temperature conditions.

Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors to optimize logistics operations.

Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards for refrigerated freight.

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to delays, temperature deviations, or other logistical challenges.

Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping documents, invoices, and contracts accurately.

Cost Management: Monitor and control transportation costs to align with budgetary goals.

Performance Tracking: Use logistics software to track shipment progress and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement.
