Description

Watkins Wellness is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to join our Cokato Manufacturing (Sauna360) team!

DISCOVER

If you enjoy solving supply chain challenges, building strong partnerships, and keeping products moving efficiently from suppliers to customers, this could be the opportunity for you. As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting transportation activities, third-party warehouse operations, inventory visibility, logistics reporting, and customer service performance. You'll work closely with internal teams, carriers, brokers, customs partners, and third-party logistics providers to help ensure products arrive where they need to be, when they need to be there.

In this role, you'll coordinate both domestic and international shipments, support inventory management across company and 3PL warehouse locations, maintain critical logistics documentation, and help resolve operational issues before they impact service. Your work will contribute directly to inventory accuracy, transportation efficiency, compliance, and cost control across the supply chain.

Success in this role requires a combination of organization, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. Whether tracking shipments, balancing inventory discrepancies, leading freight claims, or analyzing logistics data, you help drive operational excellence while continuously finding ways to improve processes and performance.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

  • Do you enjoy keeping products and materials moving efficiently? Coordinate domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments across multiple transportation modes, including LTL, FTL, parcel, expedited, customer-routed, and will-call orders. Monitor shipment activity, resolve delays and service disruptions, and partner with carriers, warehouses, customers, and internal teams to meet delivery commitments.

  • Can you build strong relationships while managing day-to-day logistics operations? Serve as a key point of contact for carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, customs partners, and 3PL warehouse providers. Support inventory movements, order fulfillment activities, shipment status inquiries, and operational issue resolution while helping maintain strong service performance.

  • Do you have a passion for inventory accuracy and operational visibility? Maintain inventory visibility across company and third-party warehouse locations, perform cycle counts, reconciliations, audits, and physical inventory activities, investigate discrepancies, and generate reports that support informed business decisions.

  • Are you detail-oriented when it comes to documentation and compliance? Prepare and manage shipping, customs, delivery, and logistics documentation; support import and export activities; ensure compliance with routing requirements and transportation regulations; and help resolve chargebacks, fines, and other compliance-related issues.

  • Can you combine analytical thinking with continuous improvement? Review freight invoices, manage freight claims and disputes, analyze transportation costs and performance metrics, prepare logistics and inventory reports, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, inventory accuracy, and overall supply chain performance.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

  • Minimum two years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field.

  • Experience working with domestic and international shipping activities.

  • Experience supporting third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operations and carrier management.

  • Knowledge of freight claims, transportation administration, and shipping documentation.

  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, reconciliation activities, and audits.

  • Experience preparing or managing export and customs-related documentation.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

  • Experience working with ERP, WMS, TMS, carrier websites, and 3PL platforms.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, organizational, and data-management skills.

  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
