Logistics Coordinator

This role is responsible for coordinating shipping and logistics activities, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a key point of contact between customers, vendors, transportation providers, and internal teams. Sparks Group has partnered with a Machinery Manufacturer in Charlotte, NC and together we are recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator. This role is responsible for coordinating shipping and logistics activities, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a key point of contact between customers, vendors, transportation providers, and internal teams.
Responsibilities:

• Coordinate equipment shipments from completion through final delivery.
• Obtain freight quotes, secure approvals, and arrange transportation services.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment readiness, scheduling, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with customers and transportation providers.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute shipping documentation, including bills of lading.
• Enter and maintain inventory, parts, and order information within company systems.
• Support efficient supply chain operations through collaboration with vendors, customers, and logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable shipping and transportation safety requirements.
• Partner with internal departments to coordinate upcoming shipments and pickups.
• Assist with additional logistics and operational activities as needed.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• 1-2 years of logistics, supply chain, transportation, shipping, or related experience.
• Manufacturing or machinery industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.

This job is In-Person.

Pay Range: Hourly $25.00 to $28.00
