What does a typical day look like for the Logistics and Operations Manager?
You will:
Oversee the planning, implementation, operation, and demobilization of multiple asset deployments at one time. Including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and execution of maintenance and operational tasks.
Serve as the central command contact and maintain 24/7 operational readiness and provide emergency response support, including after-hours troubleshooting and monitoring mission-critical repairs when required.
Communicate with onsite staff to ensure that field locations meet all physical, technical, and environmental requirements.
Evaluate upcoming deployment demands to accurately forecast and assign physical assets and qualified personnel across active sites.
Schedule and dispatch field technicians, engineers, or installation crews to multiple contract sites simultaneously.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, performance standards, service level agreements, and mission objectives.
Document the completion of specific deployment phases to trigger contractual billing cycles and revenue recognition.
Monitor multiple mission performances and provide immediate and regular feedback to stakeholders.
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:
Authorization to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.
A Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience managing Base Camp Operations, Emergency or Rapid Deployment Operations, Logistics Support Areas (LSAs) or similar programs.
OSHA 30-hour construction safety training (or equivalent)
Experience with Safety compliance in Base Camp or LSA operations
Strong knowledge of Base Camp / LSA support services, work control systems, service order management, and preventive maintenance programs
Ability to manage quality and safety compliance in a performance-based contract environment
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
