Logistics & Imports Manager
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 + bonus
Location: Tarrytown, NY - hybrid schedule

- Play a key role in supporting major retail and wholesale customers through strong OTIF performance and transportation execution.
Key Responsibilities for the Logistics & Imports Manager:
- Oversee inbound containers from overseas shipment through customs clearance, drayage, warehouse receipt, and inventory reconciliation.
- Lead carrier management activities including RFPs, negotiations, scorecards, capacity planning, and freight cost optimization.
- Drive retailer compliance, routing guide adherence, OTIF performance, and chargeback mitigation efforts.
- Manage freight claims, OS&D processes, and transportation issue resolution from investigation through recovery.
- Develop, coach, and lead logistics and imports team members while establishing scalable operational processes.
Qualifications for the Logistics & Imports Manager:
- 7+ years of consumer goods or retail logistics experience, including 3+ years of team leadership.
- Hands-on experience with imports, ocean freight, drayage, demurrage, and port operations.
- Knowledge of retailer routing guides, OTIF programs, and chargeback management.
- Experience with ERP systems, TMS/WMS platforms, EDI, and advanced Excel reporting.
