Logistics Analyst
We at TRC are partnering with a company that is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Planning Analyst to support production and supply chain operations by coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, inventory, and work processes across departments. This role is responsible for reviewing production schedules, maintaining inventory levels, tracking production data, and ensuring that materials and resources are available to meet operational demands.
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay: 30/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, work, and information between departments to support production schedules
Review and analyze production schedules, work orders, staffing requirements, and material priorities
Examine documents, materials, and products to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards and specifications
Monitor work processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
Record and maintain production data, including production volumes, raw material consumption, inventory levels, and quality control metrics
Manage and maintain inventories of materials and supplies required to support production activities
Prepare and distribute production schedules and work orders to appropriate departments
Revise production schedules as needed due to design changes, labor constraints, material shortages, or other operational disruptions
Compile reports related to inventory, production, and cost analysis
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve scheduling and material availability issues
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required.
5 to 7 years of related experience in logistics planning, production planning, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory management
Experience working with production scheduling and inventory control processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to analyze manufacturing, labor, and material-related costs
Knowledge of shipping, production, and applicable regulatory requirements
Ability to accurately document and maintain records and operational data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
Basic mentoring or coaching experience, including providing constructive feedback
Experience working with ERP, MRP, or production management systems
