Location: Lafayette, IN

Job Type: W2 Contract

Expected Hours per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Range: $17 - $19 per hour

Job Description:

The Support Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, production schedules, and shipment activities to support operational efficiency. This role works closely with logistics, production, and planning teams to ensure inventory accuracy, timely updates of estimated arrival dates (ETAs), and proper tracking and serialization of generator units. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and capable of supporting day-to-day logistics operations in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the flow of work, materials, and shipments to support production schedules and operational goals.
  • Review production schedules, work orders, staffing plans, and material requirements to determine priorities and resource needs.
  • Track and maintain daily ETA updates for generators and related equipment.
  • Assist with generator serialization and ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor inventory levels and requisition materials and supplies required to meet production demands.
  • Record and analyze production data, including output volume, material consumption, and quality metrics.
  • Examine documents, materials, and products to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
  • Utilize systems such as MRC and MESL to manage logistics data and support daily planning activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to inventory, shipments, and production activities.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics planners, support analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of logistics, supply chain, production planning, inventory, manufacturing, or related experience.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing, labor, and material costs.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating reports or dashboards using Power BI.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, production scheduling, or logistics planning processes.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
