Verax Commodities LLC seeks a Logistician for its work location at 9002 Six Pines
Drive Shenandoah, TX 77380. Full-time position. The Logistician will Analyze and
optimize logistics processes and supply chain systems to improve efficiency, reduce
costs, and enhance operational performance; develop and evaluate logistics strategies
aligned with business objectives and distribution requirements; coordinate logistics
activities across transportation, warehousing, and trade operations to ensure timely and
efficient product movement; maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, sugar mills,
and trading partners to support logistics execution and resolve operational issues;
monitor supplier and carrier performance to ensure cost-effective and reliable delivery of
goods; coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including documentation and
compliance with applicable regulations; ensure compliance with customs regulations,
bonded facility requirements, and food safety standards; analyze inventory levels and
coordinate replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels; prepare and
analyze cost reports, logistics metrics, and performance data to support operational
decision-making; identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply
chain efficiency and reduce operational risks; coordinate with cross-functional teams—
including trading, finance, and production—to ensure alignment of logistics operations; evaluate customer requirements and logistics performance to support high service-quality standards; conduct pricing and cost analyses related to transportation, distribution, and supply chain operations; support development of logistics-related documentation, including shipping records, invoices, and compliance materials; monitor industry trends and logistics technologies to recommend improvements in operational processes; ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements across logistics operations. Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain
Management, Business Administration, or a related field, plus two (2) years of
experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations-related roles. Other requirements:
