Position: Bilingual Freight Forwarding Operations (OP) Specialist
Location: Orange County, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (Non-Exempt)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented, bilingual (English & Mandarin) Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day ocean and air import/export shipments, coordinate with carriers, handle customs workflows, and ensure exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Execution: Handle end-to-end Air & Ocean (FCL/LCL) import/export bookings and schedules.
Documentation & Customs: Prepare and process MBL/HBL, MAWB/HAWB, Delivery Orders, and customs clearance documents (ACE Portal).
Vendor & Client Coordination: Communicate with carriers, truckers, warehouses, and overseas partners for timely cargo delivery and status updates.
Billing: Issue client invoices and verify vendor billing against contracted rates.
Qualifications
Languages: Fully fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin (Required).
Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in international freight forwarding.
Knowledge: Solid grasp of NVOCC, Incoterms, and US Customs entry procedures.
Skills: Proficient in Freight Management Systems (FMS) and MS Office. Legal US work authorization required.
