Physician – Outpatient Primary Care
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Pay rate: $150/hr
Assignment Duration: 60 days
We are seeking a qualified physician for a 60-day outpatient primary care assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. This opportunity primarily serves older adults in a collaborative, patient-focused environment, with an average of 10–14 patients per day and no on-call responsibilities.
Position Details:
- $150/hr, onsite Monday–Friday
- 60-day locum assignment
- Outpatient primary care, primarily serving older adults
- 10–14 patients per day
- No on-call requirement
- Indiana MD/DO license required
- IM preferred; FM and Geriatrics physicians also considered
- Collaborative, patient-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient medical care, focusing on continuity of care, preventive medicine, and health maintenance.
- Evaluate and manage a variety of patient health concerns.
- Obtain and maintain accurate patient medical histories and medical records.
- Refer patients to specialists when medically appropriate.
- Make independent clinical decisions involving moderately complex to complex issues.
- Contribute to departmental strategy and initiatives focused on improving the patient experience.
- Support an organization committed to continuous improvement in consumer care and service.
- Complete required tuberculosis (TB) screening as part of the patient-facing role.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
- Five or more years of technical experience.
- Current medical licensure meeting the requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving the consumer experience.
- Willingness to complete required TB screening.
