Rate: $2,100 6-8 hours clinical work, night call
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (6:00 AM-6:00 AM)
Opportunity Details
- Inpatient call-only coverage
- Immediate need for neonatal coverage
- Care for newborns and NICU patients 32 weeks gestation and above
- Responsibilities include newborn resuscitation, stabilization, and management of premature infants
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided
Required Skills
- Neonatal airway management and intubation
- Newborn resuscitation (NRP required)
- UVC/UAC placement
- Emergent UVC placement in the delivery room
- Needle decompression for neonatal pneumothorax
- Lumbar puncture
- EKG interpretation
Preferred Skills
- Ventilator management
- Neonatal chest tube placement
Requirements
- Active California medical license
- Active DEA
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years)
- Pediatric Hospitalist with strong neonatal experience or Neonatologist
