Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour

What You’ll Do
- Provide outpatient OB/GYN care to a diverse patient population, predominantly low-risk pregnancy management
- Perform routine OB ultrasounds, fetal monitoring, and interpretation of fetal heart rate (FHR) assessments
- Conduct gynecological procedures including IUD insertions, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, and minor surgical gynecology
- Assist with labor and delivery, including vaginal, forceps, and C-section deliveries
- Collaborate with a team of midwives and other physicians to ensure patient-centered care
- Support hospital rounding and emergency call coverage as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system
What You Need
Required:- MD or DO license in Virginia
- Board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN
- Experience in low-risk and high-risk obstetrics, gynecologic procedures, and ultrasound interpretation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred:- Prior experience in a hospital and office setting
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
About the Assignment
This assignment entails providing OB/GYN services at a highly regarded community hospital and outpatient clinic in Richmond. The facility is equipped with modern ultrasound and lab facilities, supporting both outpatient and inpatient care. You will join a dedicated team of four physicians and five Midwives, with clinical support staff ensuring smooth operations. The practice primarily handles low-risk pregnancies but is equipped for higher-risk cases and surgical procedures, providing a comprehensive scope of obstetric and gynecological care.
