Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician Assistant Outpatient Cardiology for a locum tenens job in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

Position Details

  • Specialty: Cardiology – Electrophysiology (EP)
  • Setting: Outpatient clinic
  • Coverage Dates: November 30, 2026 – March 21, 2027
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
  • Schedule Options:
    • 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
    • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 12–16 patients per shift, depending on schedule
  • Visit Length: 30 minutes
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Procedures: Not required
  • EMR: Epic

  • Vaccination Requirement: Yes

     

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage outpatient electrophysiology and cardiology patients.
  • See acute established patients, routine established follow-ups, and hospital follow-up patients.
  • Manage patient inbox messages and related clinical communications.
  • Coordinate patient care with physicians and other advanced practice providers.
  • Document visits and care plans in Epic.

Required Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Ohio license or qualify through an applicable compact pathway.
  • Must meet Cleveland Clinic credentialing and onboarding requirements.
  • Must comply with applicable vaccination requirements.

Clinical Support

  • Dedicated MA, LPN, or RN support.
  • RN assistance with patient messages and inbox management.
  • Collaborative environment with multiple physicians and APPs in the office.
