Key Responsibilities
- Practice relationship-based, wholistic primary care including prevention, chronic disease management, and health education for adult patients
- Provide acute episodic and chronic condition management with appointments ranging from 20 to 60 minutes
- Perform occupational health services including pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, audiometry, spirometry, and respirator clearance
- Conduct workers' compensation evaluations including work-related injury treatment, initial and follow-up visits, and Return-to-Work / Fit-for-Duty determinations
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing/laceration repair and splinting or minor fracture care
- Practice at the top of license with support from an RN health coach and Medical Assistant; success measured by health outcomes
Required Qualifications
- NP: Active license and current ANCC or AANP board certification required
- PA: Active license and current NCCPA board certification required
- Active DEA registration required; dispensary duties may apply depending on clinic needs
- Active DOT certification required where applicable per clinic requirements
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Primary Care experience required
- Occupational Medicine and/or Workers' Compensation experience required per clinic-specific needs
- Independent practice provider preferred where applicable per state regulation
- Online OSHA and HIPAA certifications must be completed prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Family Practice or Internal Medicine seeing adults only at this location
- Strong background in walk-in health center environments
- Experience with Athena EMR preferred
- Familiarity with wellness and prevention-focused care models
