Contract | Days with Call | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Call Hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Call rotation: 4 weeks on, 1 week off
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services during day shift hours with expected availability for call coverage during evening and overnight hours
- Perform and manage spinal anesthesia, peripheral nerve blocks, and epidurals — proficiency in all three is required
- Respond to call within 20 minutes when on-call
- Practice under MD supervision in accordance with facility protocols
- Maintain accurate case documentation; case logs demonstrating proficiency in epidurals, spinals, and blocks will be required
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted CRNA license required
- Demonstrated proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks — case logs required as proof
- Clear background and malpractice history (required for temporary credentialing consideration)
- Ability to respond to call within 20 minutes of notification
- Willingness to commit to a 4-weeks-on, 1-week-off call schedule on an ongoing basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital-based or acute care anesthesia environment
- Comfort working within a physician-supervised anesthesia practice model
- Interest in or openness to a permanent CRNA placement
