Compensation
- Hourly: $125/hour

Schedule
- Monday-Friday

Patient Population / Volume
- Adult Patients
- Acutely Ill Patients With a Wide Variety of Medical Conditions
- Approximately 14-18 Patients Per Provider
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and Manage Patients in the Gastroenterology / Internal Medicine Setting
- Assess and Manage Gastroenterology-Related Medical Conditions
- Request Specialty Consultations When Clinically Indicated
- Educate Patients and Families Regarding Preventive Care, Medical Conditions, Treatments, and Medications
- Prescribe and Monitor Medications Appropriate to the Patient's Diagnosis
- Order and Monitor Appropriate Medical and Emergency Interventions
- Refer Complex or High-Priority Cases to Collaborating Physicians
- Collaborate With Physicians on Complicated Diagnostic Problems, Serious Illnesses, Complex Treatment Issues, and Chronic Conditions
- Document Evaluations, Diagnoses, Procedures, Treatments, Outcomes, Education, Referrals, and Consultations
- Maintain Documentation Compliance for Appropriate Coding and Billing
- Participate in Clinical and Quality Review Processes

Requirements
- Board Certified - Required
- Minimum of 3 Years of Recent Clinical Experience in Gastroenterology - Required
- Active New York License in Hand - Required
- AHA BLS - Required
- Epic Experience - Required
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Credentialing / Submission Requirements
- Agency-Branded CV Required at Submission
- Current and Complete Work History Required
- No Unexplained Work History Gaps of 30 Days or More
- Physician Statement Required for Any Malpractice History, Including Dismissed Cases
