Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Advanced Practice Provider to provide outpatient cardiology coverage during a maternity leave. This opportunity is ideal for an NP, PA, or CNS with cardiology experience who is comfortable managing established EP patients, conducting follow-up visits, and addressing patient messages and inbox responsibilities.

Providers will work alongside a team of cardiologists and APPs with dedicated clinical support staff.
 

Schedule

Choose from one of the following schedules, based on site needs:

• Option 1: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (5 eight-hour shifts).
• Option 2: Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Monday–Friday coverage.
• No call responsibilities.
• No block scheduling.
• Orientation hours are billable according to the assignment terms.

Practice Highlights

• Outpatient electrophysiology clinic.
• Approximately 12–16 patients per shift, depending on schedule.
• 30-minute patient visits.
• Dedicated MA/LPN/RN support.
• RN assistance with patient messages and inbox management.
• Work alongside multiple physicians and APPs.
• No procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage established electrophysiology patients.
• Conduct routine follow-up visits and hospital follow-ups.
• Assess acute concerns in established patients.
• Manage patient messages and clinical inbox responsibilities.
• Coordinate care with cardiologists, APPs, and clinical support staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Qualified Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
• Appropriate Ohio or qualifying compact licensure; the facility will consider Ohio-licensed or compact-licensed candidates only.
• Relevant cardiology/electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Ability to manage outpatient follow-up visits and clinical inbox responsibilities.
• Must meet applicable facility credentialing and onboarding requirements.
• Vaccination requirement applies.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $110–$120/hour.
