Med Ninjas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Neurosurgery for a locum tenens job in Boston, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

Round with residents at the start of the day and review patient care plans.
Evaluate pediatric neurosurgery patients who require assessment.
Review and enter patient orders.
Manage inpatient care, including discharge planning and documentation.
Provide direct patient care; operating room responsibilities are handled by the surgical team and residents.
Remove Hemovac and JP drains when clinically appropriate; this skill is preferred.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery experience.
Board certification in Neurosurgery, as specified by the facility.
Active Massachusetts license required.
Epic charting experience required.
Pediatric inpatient neurosurgery experience preferred.
Must be available for the required coverage schedule.
