Prime Staffing is seeking a CRNA Anesthesia for a locum tenens job in Lexington, Kentucky.

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Job Details:

  • Travel CRNA position at a Level 1 Trauma Center — Level 1 Trauma experience required

  • Contract length of 13 weeks with options to extend

  • Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (including 30-minute lunch)

  • Full-time coverage needed; 6-month commitment preferred

  • CRNAs are medically directed, typically at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio (anesthesiologist to CRNA)

  • Support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Technicians, and Anesthesiologists

  • Daily patient volume ranges from 1–9 patients per day

  • Patient population spans all age groups (no Neonatal)

  • Coverage areas include: Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology (No Cardiac/Heart cases)

  • All providers will be required to work NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia)

  • Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial Line, and Line Placement; blocks not likely needed; no OB

  • EMR system: EPIC experience preferred

  • Must have recent experience in a large medical center setting

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required — no new graduates

  • Board Certification through NBCRNA required

  • Active Kentucky state license required; facility is open to licensing assistance

  • Weekly expense allowance of up to $1,500 per full week worked available in lieu of reimbursements
