Pay & Benefits- Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00

What You’ll Do- Provide OB hospitalist coverage, including deliveries, triage, and gynecology emergencies
- Manage patient encounters in a Level 1 NICU hospital setting
- Respond to unassigned gynecology emergencies and assist with deliveries
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Document patient interactions efficiently in the EMR system (to be determined)
- Support hospital staff during busy obstetric and gynecological cases
What You Need- Medical license in Iowa; Board Eligible or Certified in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB
- Experience with OB triage, deliveries, and gynecology emergencies preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care
About the AssignmentThis role is with a leading hospital in Waverly, Iowa, featuring approximately 200 annual deliveries and a busy obstetric and gynecological practice. The OB Hospitalist will manage deliveries, OB triage, and unassigned gyn emergencies, working alongside a team committed to delivering excellent maternal care. The hospital does not have MFM on site, but provides NICU Level 1 support, with hospitalists handling GYN coverage and obstetric emergencies.
