What You’ll Do
- Provide OB hospitalist coverage at a busy hospital with approximately 884 annual births
- Manage a patient encounter volume of about 184 per month (excluding deliveries)
- Collaborate with in-house anesthesia for patient care
- Support hospital staff in OB-related patient management
- Use Epic EMR system to document and coordinate care
- Provide backup OB/GYN on-call coverage as needed
- Engage in standard OBED procedures and patient assessments
What You Need
- Valid medical license for Mississippi or willingness to obtain
- Certification in ACLS, PALS, NRP (or willingness to acquire)
- Experience in obstetrics or hospitalist work preferred but not required
- Ability to work a 24-hour shift schedule
