Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in Christiansburg, VA

Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Virginia
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience managing obstetric and gynecological emergencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working as a hospitalist or in a locum capacity
- Familiarity with Level 3B NICU care
- Knowledge of hospital systems and electronic medical records
- bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or other languages
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice, preferably in a hospital setting
- Previous locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 02/01/2026
- In-house anesthesia coverage 24/7
- Participation in a comprehensive on-call schedule
- Commitment to providing emergent gynecological care
- Willingness to work with a diverse team including other OBs, General Surgery, and ER physicians
- Ability to travel to the facility as needed; licensure and certification reimbursements provided
