What You’ll Do
- Provide obstetric emergent care, including GYN emergencies, in a hospital setting
- Support inpatient labor and delivery coverage, with in-house obstetric coverage
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including anesthesiology, other OBs, general surgeons, and ER doctors
- Cover approximately 600 assigned patients plus 40 unassigned patients per month
- Participate in hospital teams managing deliveries, emergent GYN situations, and patient care coordination
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care in a Level 3B NICU environment
- Contribute to a supportive environment with backup available and on-site MFM support
What You Need
Required:- Medical license in Virginia
- Experience in obstetrics, gynecology, or hospitalist roles
- Ability to handle emergent GYN cases efficiently
Preferred:- Previous hospitalist experience
- Familiarity with Level 3B NICU settings
