What You’ll Do:- Provide OB/GYN emergency and routine in-hospital care during assigned shifts
- Manage deliveries, including vaginal, low forceps, and C-section deliveries
- Handle complicated deliveries such as breech, multiple births, and abruptions
- Perform C-sections, including decision-making for surgical interventions
- Support VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean)
- Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Collaborate with midwives for patient care and deliveries
- Document care in EPIC EMR system
- Contribute to a low-volume, patient-focused practice environment
What You Need:- Kentucky medical license or eligible for licensure
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
- At least 2 years of hospital-based OB/GYN experience
- Strong decision-making and surgical skills
- Ability to work irregular hours and on-call shifts
About the Assignment:Join a reputable hospital in Paducah, Kentucky, offering in-hospital OB/GYN services in a Level II Nursery setting. With approximately 700-800 deliveries annually and a dedicated team, this role provides meaningful coverage with manageable patient volumes, onsite labs, and ultrasound services. Midwives will manage their own deliveries, ensuring a collaborative environment and smooth workflow.
