About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Radiation Oncology MD in Galesburg, Illinois, 61401!

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist to join our client in Illinois for a 9-day assignment. This role involves Monday through Friday coverage from 8am to 4:30pm, with no call, holidays, or weekends required. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient evaluation, treatment planning, prescription for radiation therapy, weekly assessments of patients undergoing treatment, and post-treatment follow-up, along with daily image verification.Responsibilities and Duties

• Be responsible for patient evaluation, simulation and dosimetry treatment planning, prescription for radiation therapy, weekly assessments of patients under treatment, and post-treatment patient follow-up.
• Be responsible for checking daily images for verification of alignment and accuracy of treatment.

• Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Patients Per Day: 25-30 patients under treatment per day
• LOA: 9 Days
