Clinical documentation is managed through a combination of paper charting and an EMR system, supported by a Dragon dictation system.

    About the Clinician's Workday

    Clinicians will provide inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on-site in Providence, Rhode Island, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with inpatient rounding conducted in the latter half of the day. Patient volume ranges from 12 to 20 encounters per day, with a ramp-up period provided; typical consult appointments are 45 minutes and follow-up appointments are 15 minutes, with flexibility based on clinician preference. Call coverage is required on a 1:1 rotation, consisting of one week and one weekend per month. Hospital privileges are required, and prescriptive authority is required for this assignment.
