Locums Medical Oncology Physician in Indiana - Four Day Week, Phone Call Only
Work a full-time four-day clinical week across multiple Indiana locations, with an 80 percent clinic focus and telephone-based call coverage.
Highlights
- Mondays off or available as an administrative day
- 80 percent clinic-based workload
- Hospitalists handle admissions
Practice & Cases
- Adult medical oncology with 65 percent oncology and 35 percent hematology
- 18-20 clinic patients per day with infrequent hospital consults
- Three physicians and four Nurse Practitioners in the practice
- Hospitalist support for admissions with oncologists serving as consultants
Schedule
- Tuesday through Friday coverage
- Four days per week
- Night and weekend call rotation as assigned
- Call is primarily telephone availability with advanced practice backup
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years in Medical Oncology
- Active Indiana license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification required
- BLS required
