About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an engaging 62-day assignment in Virginia, commencing Oct 16, 2026. This role involves in-house call coverage with shifts typically from 7a-7a, offering specific dates through the end of 2026 and ongoing one-week per month availability in 2027. The successful candidate will manage established patients, address unassigned ED visits and admissions, and perform various OB/GYN procedures, with a possibility of future outpatient coverage.Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide in-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology patients.
• Manage established patients within the clinic setting.
• Handle unassigned ED visits and admissions, as scheduled (up to 6 per month).
• Perform required procedures including Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Delivery, Circumcision, Hysteroscopy, Surgery for Missed AB, Incomplete Abortion, Hysterectomy, Ovarian Cystectomy, and D&C with or without suction.
• Be open to potential outpatient coverage for vacant shifts due to provider vacation (8am-5pm for return OB patients & same-day visits only).

• Inpatient / Outpatient setting: Inpatient, with potential for future outpatient coverage.
• Call schedule and requirements: In-house call required; shifts typically 7a-7a.
• Patients per day volume: Average 2-3 callbacks and 2 admissions per shift.
• LOA: 62 Days
• Staffing Mix: In the hospital, support staff allows for full call coverage, with CNM backup for assignments longer than 4 days. In the office, 1 Front Office Staff and 2 Nurses provide support.
