    Dillon, South Carolina OB/GYN Physician Locum Tenens
    ASAP – Ongoing • 24-Hour Call Coverage • Flexible Block Scheduling

    Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified OB/GYN Physicians for an urgent, ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Dillon, South Carolina. This is a high-impact call coverage role offering flexible block scheduling, manageable patient volume, and a well-supported hospital environment.

    Opportunity Snapshot

    Contract Type: Locum Tenens
    Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing

    Schedule Model:

    • 24-hour call shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
    • Primarily call coverage with occasional clinic support as needed
    • Daily inpatient rounding required (including weekends)

    Flexible Coverage Options:

    • Block scheduling available
    • Multiple providers will be utilized to support ongoing coverage

    Current Priority Coverage Dates

    • May 1 – May 4
    • June 8 – June 12
    • July 6 – July 10
    • August 31 – September 4
    • October 5 – October 12
    • October 12 – October 19
    • October 19 – October 23
    • October 26 – November 2

    (Ongoing coverage needs beyond these dates)

    Practice Environment

    • Community hospital with 4 LDR beds
    • Independent practice model (no inpatient APP support)
    • EPIC EMR
    • Strong nursing and hospital support teams

    This is a low-to-moderate volume OB program with predictable workflow and full-spectrum coverage responsibilities.

    Clinical Scope

    • Vaginal deliveries and C-sections
    • Daily inpatient rounding (1–3 patients on average)
    • 1–3 deliveries per day
    • 2–4 NSTs/observations daily
    • OB/GYN consults for ED patients

    Additional Notes:

    • No circumcisions required (handled by Pediatrics)
    • Must be comfortable practicing independently

    What We’re Looking For

    • Board Certified OB/GYN (ABOG or AOBGYN)
    • Active South Carolina medical license
    • SC Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
    • DEA (must remain registered in South Carolina)

    Experience:

    • Strong proficiency in full-scope OB/GYN care
    • Comfortable managing deliveries, surgical cases, and consults independently

    Onboarding Requirement

    • ½-day orientation required prior to first shift
    • Must be completed on a weekday (Monday–Friday)
    • Preferably completed immediately prior to first scheduled shift
