About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in California!

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician in California starting Oct 12, 2026, for a 50-day assignment. This role involves providing 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM each day, attending deliveries, C-sections, high-risk cases, and managing occasional ER consults with robust support staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour call coverage, out of house.
• Attend deliveries and C-sections, including high-risk cases.
• Manage occasional ER consults.
• Perform urgent GYN procedures as needed.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• The facility utilizes Epic EMR.
• Inpatient setting with 24-hour out-of-house call coverage.
• Call schedule is 24-hours, 7 AM to 7 AM each day.
• The hospital averages 45 deliveries per month.
• The facility has Pediatric Hospitalists on-call 24/7 with full support staff.
