Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Miami, Florida, beginning October 1, 2026.

This opportunity offers 12–14 shifts per month within a 32-bed Emergency Department seeing approximately 47,000 annual visits. Physicians practice in an academic medical environment with extensive specialty support, Epic EMR, and a predominantly physician-driven staffing model.

• Weekend: 10:00 AM–9:00 PM
• Weekend: 3:00 PM–1:00 AM

Practice Environment

Physicians manage a broad spectrum of adult Emergency Medicine presentations with access to an extensive network of consulting specialties.

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO
• ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified – Required
• Emergency Medicine residency trained
• Active Florida medical license – Required
• Fluent/Proficient Spanish – Required
• Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Current ACLS
• Current BLS
• Comfortable supervising APCs
• Clean credentialing and professional file required
• October availability required

Family Medicine and Internal Medicine-trained physicians are not accepted.

The facility will not process candidates with a pending Florida license.

Credentialing

Temporary/emergency privileges may be available for appropriately qualified physicians with a clean credentialing file, creating a potential pathway to an October start.

Candidates should be prepared to provide specific October availability at presentation.
