JOB REUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABIM, ABFM or equivalent)
- Licenses: Active TN Medical license, DEA with TN address (Schedules II-V)
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required (Schedules II-V)
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS; NRP for non-ABEM providers
- Experience: Reidency trained in specialty required
- Other Qualifications: Case logs past 2 years, Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME, ECFMG for foreign graduates
DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants
- Maintain 24-hour physician coverage as per model
- Perform procedures consistent with emergency medicine privileges
- Maintain board certification, licenses, and required continuing education
