JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or BC/BE Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with EM experience (AAPS/ABPS not accepted)
- Licenses: Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License; Active DEA with Florida address
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Florida address required
- Certifications: ATLS (unless ABEM certified), ACLS, PALS
- Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required for FM/IM candidates
- Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination within last 12 months, TB screening within last 12 months, COVID documentation, Case logs and CME documentation from past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED
- Perform all DOP-listed procedures
- Manage patient flow and stabilize acute cases
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff
- Document patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
