We are actively seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for an inpatient locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. Commencing on Nov 20, 2024, this 16-day assignment concludes on Dec 6, 2024. The schedule involves a mix of daylight coverage and night call, primarily focusing on 24-hour STEMI and non-invasive call duties, alongside essential patient rounding.Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour STEMI and non-invasive call coverage.
• Perform rounding on new consults and established patients.
• Collaborate with APPs and non-invasive physicians to manage daily workflow, including cath lab cases and consults.
• Cover both invasive and non-invasive responsibilities on weekends, including rounding on new consults and established patients.
• Read Echo lab reports on Saturdays.
• Finalize stress test reports for inpatients on weekends, as needed.
• Manage non-invasive call volume, typically fielding 0-3 calls per evening/overnight shift.
• Handle interventional cases on weekends, with an average of 0-1 cases.
• Oversee inpatient service with a typical daily volume of 15-20 patients, occasionally fluctuating into the higher 20s.

• Staffing Mix: 1-2 APPs during weekdays; no APPs on weekends; Generalist typically present on weekends.
