REQUIRED PROCEDURES- Anesthesia for outpatient surgical cases (General, Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, Urology, GYN)
- Regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks (Orthopedic)
- Airway management for adult and pediatric patients
- Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) and General Anesthesia
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC)
- Board: Board Certified in Anesthesiology (will not accept Board Eligible)
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Experience: 2+ years preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Administer anesthesia for a diverse range of outpatient surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Perform regional anesthesia techniques, including orthopedic blocks, for post-operative pain management.
- Provide medical direction and clinical supervision to CRNAs in the operating room.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and address any acute complications or emergencies.
