    Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician – Detroit, MI

    Are you a qualified Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist seeking a flexible locum opportunity with a leading facility in Detroit, MI? This role provides the chance to work at a Level III NICU with a busy, high-quality obstetric setting.

    • End Date/Duration: Approximately until 01/24/2027, with potential ongoing coverage
    • Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with nightly weekday call and 24-hour weekend call
    • Hours/week: 40+ hours
    • Employment Type: Locum
    • Licenses/Certifications: Medical license in MI required
    • Experience: Prior Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred

    What You’ll Do
    • Review and round on inpatient maternal-fetal medicine patients with residents
    • Provide inpatient consults and phone consultations; evaluate patients in person as needed
    • Supervise residents in high-risk OB clinics at Henry Ford Warren as required
    • Interpret and manage ultrasound services, including high-risk ultrasound procedures
    • Perform procedures such as amniocentesis, cerclage, and external cephalic version
    • Support high- and low-risk obstetric patients with both outpatient and inpatient care
    • Contribute to a collaborative team focusing on high-quality, safe patient care

    What You Need
    • Active medical license in Michigan
    • Prior MFM experience, including high-risk obstetrics
    • Proficiency in procedures such as amniocentesis, cerclage, and ECV
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Preferred: experience supervising residents, ultrasound interpretation
