What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population
- Evaluate, treat, and manage patients with a broad range of emergent conditions
- Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses, and care teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure effective patient handoffs and clear communication with hospital staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
- Adapt to varied shifts and facility needs, including potential night shifts in the future
What You Need
- Active Emergency Medicine license (ABEM/AOBEM certified/prepared)
- Minimum of 2 years Emergency Medicine experience in a clinical setting
- ACLS, NRP, and DEA certifications
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and scheduling needs
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
About the Assignment
This assignment involves providing emergency care in a busy Emergency Department with approximately 814 patients per day. You will work in a modern facility equipped with EPIC EMR and full imaging/diagnostic support, managing low to medium trauma cases primarily, with some high-acuity pediatric cases. The facility values experienced physicians with a focus on quality patient care and adaptability to changing shift demands.
