What You’ll Do:- Cover the Emergency Department at Berkshire Medical Center and North Adams Hospital
- Float between facilities based on scheduling needs, primarily night shifts
- Provide high-quality emergency care to trauma level III patients in a fast-paced environment
- Supervise paramedics and ambulance services within the ED
- Collaborate with hospital staff, including hospitalists and APPs
- Respond to emergencies and provide essential clinical interventions as needed
- Monitor patient admissions and assist with ED flow
What You Need:- Massachusetts Medical License in good standing
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- At least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle complex emergency cases
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment:This position offers the opportunity to work within a high-volume Emergency Department managing approximately 55,000 annual visits. The facility operates with EMR software Meditech and handles a broad spectrum of emergency cases, providing a stimulating environment for experienced providers. You’ll be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient care in North Adams, MA.
