What Youll Do
- Provide urgent care services to a diverse outpatient patient population (birth to death)
- Perform procedures including suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, splinting, and skin lesion care
- Evaluate and interpret point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, COVID-19, RSV, urinalysis)
- Manage epistaxis with anterior packing or cautery
- Support airway stabilization and emergency interventions as needed
- Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient patient care across multiple clinics
What You Need
Required:- Active PA license in Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of urgent care or outpatient experience
- Basic proficiency with x-ray interpretation, EKG, and point-of-care testing
- Ability to work independently and handle a high patient volume
Preferred:- Experience working across multiple clinic locations
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
