What Youll Do
- Assess and treat patients of all ages with urgent care needs
- Perform procedures including suturing, I&D, splinting, and basic orthopedic stabilization
- Conduct diagnostic tests such as EKGs, X-rays, and point-of-care labs
- Manage minor burns, skin lesions, foreign body removal, and epistaxis
- Support airway management including nebulizer treatments and emergency stabilization
- Document patient encounters efficiently in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care
What You Need
- Active Virginia state license to practice as a Physician Assistant
- BLS certification
- 1+ year of urgent care or emergency room experience preferred
- Strong procedural skills including suturing, I&D, splinting, and diagnostic interpretation
- Excellent patient communication skills and ability to handle diverse patient populations
