What Youll Do
Provide urgent care services, including minor procedures such as suturing, I&D, splinting, and joint reductions.
Perform diagnostic testing, including EKG interpretation, point-of-care labs, and X-ray review.
Manage patient needs from birth to death, including minor injuries and acute illnesses.
Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR system.
Support patient stabilization and assist with airway management as needed.
Maintain high-quality patient care while adhering to clinic protocols.
What You Need
Active Virginia Physician Assistant license
1+ year of experience in urgent care, emergency, or outpatient clinic setting
Proficiency in suturing, I&D, splinting, EKG, and point-of-care testing
Strong communication and patient management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
About the Assignment
Join a reputable outpatient urgent care located across multiple Richmond-area locations. This role involves handling episodic events with higher acuity cases referred to higher-level facilities. The facility emphasizes quick onboarding, so credentialing is expected within 6090 days. The schedule maintains a focus on patient care volume, especially during peak cold and flu seasons. No call required; this is an outpatient-only role committed to quality care delivery.
