Our client in Oregon seeks a dedicated Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant for an immediate 60-day assignment. This role involves 10-hour or 24-hour call shifts, including potential weekend and weekday coverage, with clinic hours from 0800-1630. The Physician Assistant will provide first, second, or third surgical assistance in the OR, perform in-clinic procedures, and manage vascular/endovascular cases, ensuring seamless patient care through rounding and admissions.Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide first, second, or third surgical assistance in the operating room.
- Assist with various in-clinic procedures.
- Manage a diverse range of vascular and endovascular cases.
- Conduct patient rounding and admissions.
- Report at the beginning of each shift to facilitate handoffs and rounding activities.
Additional Information- Required Board Certification: Vascular Surgery
- Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- EMR: Epic
- Setting: Inpatient
- Call Schedule: Inhouse call, including 10-hour and 24-hour shifts, covering weekdays and weekends.
- Patients per day: 15-20
- LOA: 60 Days
- Staffing Mix: The Physician Assistant will collaborate with an MD/DO.
