Pay & Benefits

What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized support to the cardiothoracic surgery team in a busy hospital setting
• Assist with perioperative patient care and post-operative management
• Conduct inpatient and outpatient patient evaluations and rounds
• Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery
• Document patient interactions accurately using EPIC EMR system
• Support weekend rounds and inpatient care for 5-10 patients per rotation
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and protocols

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active PA license in Virginia
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
• Preferred:
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
