PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES- Post-operative care for all types of cardiothoracic and vascular patients
- Emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients
- Taking consults/referrals from ED, Cath Lab and hospital providers
- Vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit
- Assist in surgery, write prescriptions, coordinate care, round, interpret/order tests
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC in Vascular Surgery
- Licenses: Active OH license or compact license
- DEA: Active DEA
- Certifications: ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services
- Other Qualifications: Clean background/no malpractice or license issues, EMR proficiency (Epic)
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
- Assist in cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries
- Manage patient rounding and coordination of care
- Interpret diagnostic tests and order appropriate treatments
- Perform vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues
