We are seeking a Gynecological Oncology Physician Assistant for a 100-day assignment in Connecticut. The schedule involves four 10-hour days per week, typically from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This role focuses on comprehensive patient care, including pre-operative, post-operative, and follow-up care, managing chemotherapy reactions, and performing routine gynecological office procedures for a high acuity, predominantly malignant case population.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Conduct patient follow-up appointments
- Manage chemotherapy reactions within the infusion center
- Perform in-office procedures, including routine gynecological care
- Demonstrate proficiency in well-rounded gynecological oncology procedures
- Care for patients with a high acuity, predominantly malignant case load
- Experience with chemotherapy preferred
- No operating room time is required for this role
Additional Information
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- EMR: Epic
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patient Volume: 30-60 patients per day, depending on daily schedule
