We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in California. This role involves comprehensive primary care for a diverse adult patient population within an FQHC setting, including some well-child checks, covering a sabbatical. The schedule is Tuesday - Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm, providing essential care to the community.Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide primary care services within an FQHC setting, addressing a wide range of patient needs
- Manage acute and chronic conditions such as cold, cough, flu, hypertension, and diabetes
- Deliver patient-centered care for specific populations including homeless and LGBTQ patients
- Perform annual check-ups and well-child visits, particularly during school physical seasons
- Conduct women's health procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon removals
- Support the clinic by covering for a sabbatical provider, focusing primarily on adults with occasional pediatric physicals
