What Youll Do
- Provide post-procedural daily patient care in a hospital setting
- Communicate effectively with patients and families about care plans
- Collaborate with neurosurgery team members and other healthcare providers
- Document patient progress accurately in EPIC electronic medical record system
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed
- Support coverage for maternity leave, filling in for existing staff
- Uphold hospital protocols and safety standards in inpatient care
What You Need
Required:- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Inpatient or surgical experience, particularly in neurosurgery
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred:- Experience with post-procedural care in a hospital environment
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
