Our client in West Virginia is actively seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 72-day assignment. This role involves 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am shifts, with duties including patient rounding, bedside consults, documentation, and participation in team conferences and shift handoffs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform rounding and patient checkouts.
- Conduct bedside consults.
- Accurately take notes and manage orders.
- Participate in conferencing with other providers in the unit.
- Execute smooth handoffs between day and night shifts.

- Board Certifications: Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- EMR: Epic
- Setting: Inpatient
- Call Schedule: No call required
- Patients per day: 8-13

- Staffing Mix: 2 APPs during the day, 1 APP at night, with MAs and nursing staff available each shift.
