FACILITY INFORMATION- Trauma Level: Level I Trauma; Level III NICU

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 120+ days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES- Delivery room attendance
- Neonatal resuscitation
- PICC line placement
- Umbilical line placement
- Needle aspiration
- Chest tube placement
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, etc.)
- Licenses: Active MI license (no new license candidates accepted)
- Certifications: NRP (Advanced Provider or Instructor required)
- Experience: Neonatal experience required; new grads not accepted
- AOther Qualifications: Self-Query NPDB required at time of presentation
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive neonatal care to critically ill neonates in Level III NICU under supervision of attending physician.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed.
- Perform advanced procedures including PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration, and chest tube insertion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic EMR.
