Our client in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a minimum 90-day assignment, with potential for extension up to six months. This role offers a flexible 9a-5p schedule, typically working 3-4 days per week within inpatient nursing facilities. The successful candidate will manage patient rounding, charting, and comprehensive patient evaluations, providing essential care across various patient cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient rounding
- Accurately chart patient interactions and care plans
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations
- Manage patient admissions and discharges
- Provide diligent patient follow-up care
- Address acute patient visits
- Oversee patient medication management
Additional Information
- EMR: Nextgen
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Setting: Inpatient
- Call Schedule: No call required
- Patient Volume: 15-18 patients per day
- LOA: 90 days minimum
